Hi everyone! I hope you’re staying healthy and sane and everything’s ok. Been busy as hell here and I don’t know why but it took 2 weeks yet again for the perfect storm of songs, mood, available time, inspiratioin & caffination to come together and make for another set. I hate my own work as much as anyone so it’s hard to talk up this set to get you excited except to say it’s GREAT TUNES! We start with I Ya Toyah’s recent Depeche Mode cover “It’s no good” and a “Not-so Ebb” parody track that, kinda made me snicker a little, I admit. Just some of the goodies you can easily find on mixcloud. I think most will enjoy it. Anyway. This set started as a test of a different than usual live-stream program to go live on Mixcloud. And then I got caught up in it. Hope you enjoy!

This coming week I will start to make the public facing changes to include the free email / webmail / contacts / calendar account perk available starting at a much lower tier! Yes, it’s moving down to the $10/mo tier but there’s more.

Because of the state of things in the world and the fact that I haven’t much to offer to help you all out, I thought perhaps some may find a video chat solution useful. So I’ve set up a video chat system which appears to work well in a surprising variety of situations, devices and platforms even without downloading any software. Tech support will obviously not exist because duh. But in my testing it all just works. Tinker, play, it’s free with your email supporting tier.

There’s a down-side/up-side that goes with the video chat:

Sadly I don’t have a way to offer this any way other than a per-patron basis, manually and you must have an (email) account to use the service. So provisionally (until it bites me in the ass), for each $10 email tier patron who also wants to use the webmail option – I will include, one additional account for the one person you need to see and talk to live the most. It’s another excuse to get your friends to sign up so you can all VC each other – and you get an email/VC twofer to personally give away! 

This video chat offer, unless I find some better way of integrating it later, will remain available until I’m totally satisfied that everyone’s safe to spend time with the people in their lives again. Unless the huge bandwidth requirements kill me or the server, or people want to keep it after, we’ll worry about all that when the time comes.
